Refund Policy

General B2B principles for samples, custom development, production orders, claims and agreed remedies.

Last updated · September 18, 2026

01

Business-to-business scope

YOUME supplies cookware for business purchasing, including brands, importers, wholesalers and distributors. This website is not a consumer online shop and does not accept online payment. Catalog requests and website inquiries do not create a sale or an automatic right to a refund.

02

Order documents control

Any cancellation, return, credit or refund is governed first by the written quotation, pro forma invoice, sample approval, purchase order, sales contract or other transaction document accepted by both parties. If those documents conflict with this general policy, the transaction documents prevail.

03

Samples, tooling and development charges

Sample, tooling, packaging-development, testing or courier charges may be non-refundable once the related work, materials or third-party services have been ordered or performed. Any credit of these charges against a production order must be stated in writing.

04

Custom and production orders

OEM and ODM products are made or prepared to an agreed specification. After materials are committed, tooling starts, a sample is approved or production begins, an order cannot normally be cancelled or returned for convenience unless YOUME agrees in writing. Any resulting cost, loss or completed work may be deducted from an approved refund or credit.

05

Quality, shortage or shipping claims

Inspect samples and shipments promptly. A claim should be submitted within the inspection or claim period stated in the applicable transaction documents and should identify the order, item, quantity, batch or carton information and include clear photographs, video, inspection records or other reasonable evidence. Do not return goods without written return instructions.

06

Available remedies

After a supported claim is reviewed, the parties may agree on repair, replacement, replenishment, rework, price adjustment, account credit or refund. The appropriate remedy depends on the agreed specification, the nature and extent of the issue, responsibility for the issue and the controlling transaction documents.

07

Costs and payment method

Bank charges, freight, insurance, duties, taxes, inspection charges and return costs are refundable only when the controlling transaction documents or a later written agreement say so. An approved monetary refund will normally be made to the original paying business through an agreed lawful payment channel.

08

Mandatory rights and contact

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. To discuss a cancellation or claim, contact the YOUME representative named in your quotation, invoice or existing business correspondence and provide the relevant order documentation.
